I didn't know you'd used ABC+ first in tray and then for rotary. In
tests about a year ago I found that it worked quite differently in the
two methods: tray development produced relatively little stain and a
strongly developed silver image compared to rotary (with development
times adjusted for similar overall contrast). Almost a non-staining pyro
neg that printed fine in Pt/Pd but was very hot for silver, including
VC. This was TXT film btw, I'd have to go back into my notes to see what
other emulsions I tried, and I didn't try with the silver paper you
mention.---Carl
