there are many different quality of japanese paper.
and some of them low quality dinsintegrate in water.
I have roll of one of this paper at home . when i coat it I think it could
work but as soon as I put it in water there is nothing more than a ball of
paper.
If you can touch the paper take it betwenn to wet finger and rub it. If
it's a good paper it would stay hard.
