The pirates are alive and well in the Caribbean...they still wear gold
earrings...but they carry valices instead of cutlasses and work in the
telecom business! We pay $3 per minute for overseas phone/fax! No 10 cents
per minute for us! AND NO 800 TOLL FREE SERVICE EITHER. An 800 number is
useless for us...WE PAY FULL RATE FOR ANY 800 NUMBER!
Perhaps a small price to pay for living in "Paradise". But I still try
to use e-mail or faxes whenever possible!
