Start with material and include everything . . .
Everything! from % use of camera, film (including
the other images the ended up on the proverbial
cutting room floor) down to how many test prints,
negatives, chemicals used, then add 5 to 10%. Next
how much time did it take to make the finished
product including time shooting, lab work and
mounting, framing and hanging. This will give you
a good idea of what the print cost you. Then add
some profit say, anywhere from coffee after the
show to the cost of replacing your camera and
adjust for your audience.
