Martin,

As the country's preeminent restorer of Deardorff cameras, you can send them
to me to have them replaced. The material used is a rubberized fabric on the
inside and a high quality nylon on the outside. The bellows maker I use not
only makes the bellows for my own cameras as well as my clients, but was the
original maker for Deardorff when they were in business. The price for an 8 X
10 square/taper bellows is $280 including the charge to put them on the your
original frames. No current bellows maker offers leather anymore in the US as
no one seems to be able to acquire the thin leather needed. Besides Deardorff
never made leather bellows for their cameras, so leather would not be
original. I will also be making a large run of Deardorff mahogany lens boards
this week, so if anyone is interested, please contact me offline.
