Carl,
I believe that you are referring to the use of platine with Ammonium
Ferric Oxalate (POP), which I am in agreement with as to the "wet"
platine. However, I believe that Gary was using Ferric Oxalate (DOP)(he
had mentioned the potassium oxalate developer.), in which case I have
gotten excellent results by humidifying, coating, drying to "bone dry",
then exposing. In this later case (DOP) the humidity during exposure
hinders the ability to achieve the darkest darks.
