The last time I compared "bone dry" to humidified paper at the exposure
stage (for DOP, naturally) I got better results with the humidified
paper. That was on Crane Cover, and also AS8111 if I remember right. I
haven't tried the comparison on Platine. I'll do both again at the start
of my next printing session because I'm planning to do a lot of DOP
printing from big negs soon. I'd actually *like* to have "bone dry" be
superior because from a mechanical procedure standpoint, it's easier to
make a sheet completely dry than 'just dry enough'.
