The only public darkroom left that is not a commercial enterprise that I am
aware of in the San Jose area is the Santa Clara community Center, $6/hr. for
about 3 hours/night a few days per week. Slighter higher up the east side
of the bay, the City of Hayward maintains a public facility that is purported
to be reasonably well equipped.
News that this has improved would be welcome, as I do more with my 4x5, I
appreciate having a bathroom darkroom less..;)
