ON the JOBO reels for 4*5 inch processing: AFAIK there are two 4*5 inch
reels the older type 2509 on which 6 sheets can be loaded; but after
production JOBO advised to use 4 instead of 6 films (something to do with
USA films beeing more flimsy then german sheet film, thus the Kodak films
touch each other during processing). They remodeled their reel (the
2509N), and added some "retainer wall" which you snap on both sides of the
reel; "fixing" 6 sheets in postion; these walls seem also to give better
turbulence.
These data can be found on the JOBO site after some digging.
I have used upto 6 sheets (with relative thick croatian EFKE film..;-)..)
in RolloPYro, with no problems on the old reel. But I try to stick to 4
sheets, just to be cautious.
And I also think you can get by without the loader; which is relative
expensive, just pratice in daylight with old film
