Rules for Traveling Portfolio 1999C
(latest update: 10/12/1999)

Basic Idea
The basic idea is to gather prints (alternative processes only) and circulate
them in a portfolio that is mailed around. Currently the circulation is only
within the United States of America.

Goal:
- to experience work in a way that downloaded images cannot match
- to see what other people are doing
- to provide topics for discussion

Dates:
11/8/99 (Mon.) deadline for notification by email that you want to
participate
11/15/99 (Mon.) deadline for print submission

Circulation
The portfolio will be circulated first among "contributors" (those who
submitted prints to the portfolio), then among "viewers" (those who do not
submit any print but request to see the portfolio). The number of viewers
will be limited. After the portfolio completes the circulation, the prints
will be sent back to the contributors.
Submission Requirement
There is no particular theme to this portfolio. Send whatever subject that
interests you, or any work on which you would like to receive comments. The
print must be done in one of the alternative processes.

Once you indicate that you will participate in a portfolio, you will receive,
through email, the mailing address where you should send your print.

Print Specification

original printer of the work.

will be sent out to the first person on the list. The recipient should:

of the portfolio.
- Keep the portfolio for at most a week (less is appreciated).
