I use a Macbeth and it has the reach for most size negs although you wouldn't
be able to reach the center of a 16x20 neg. but that's OK. For my purposes,
it works just fine. Got mine at a used photo gear place called Litho-Tronics
in Wheeling, Ill. They carry rebuilt densitometers and do repairs as well
and offer tech help. They are at 800-225-8414.
