Yes, I did receive your original posting with supplier info and I am
awaiting a response from J. T. Baker. I was merely trying to make it clear
that there were various "flavors" of EDTA, not only tetra sodium which you
distinctly state was fine for clearing baths but not as your recommended
additive to the coating
solutions. And thanks to Stan Johnson for the recommendations for varying
the species but as all I have access to here is EDTA tetra sodium, I will
try to see what J. T. Baker has to say. If I have problems I will go
hunting for the wild pH meter in the outback of Barbados!
