Please do us all a favor and use a hood that scrubs the mercury from the
exhaust and does not simply vent it to the outside air. Not all fume
hoods scrub, and even fewer scrub mercury. I believe that Robert Shlaer
has a closed system that contains and recycles the mercury. I recall
web pages with photos and diagrams, but I seem to have misplaced the
link.
