Hi Folks,

I vaguely remember discussion of Annie's prints when her show "Women"
first opened at the Corcoran last year sometime. I recall the jury was
still out as to what method she used to make her prints.

Can anyone confirm that these prints were made with the Iris? And does
anyone know who made them?

Overall I thought the prints were pretty impressive, though the shadow
detail was sadly lacking in both the color and b/w prints. They are not
even close to Jon Cone's Piezography prints in terms of quality (the b/w
ones, that is). Of course the seams were troublesome, too, but this is
the limitation of the current generation of printers--I'm sure that will
change soon enough.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Cheers, Doug Niven
