Sigh! It seems Allan didn't read the issue he requested: The method is in
circulation, not only from the 1970 PSA Journal, and Luis Nadeau's
encyclopedia, but from "Judy's Journal," that is, the World Journal of
Post-Factory Photography Issue #3, where the PSA article was summarized,
Nina Rizzo's own detailed explanation elaborated on it, and Liam Lawless
told you how to make the required gold chloride out of an old tooth. Nina
is also giving a workshop in the process this summer at the Photographer's
Formulary program. Which is to say, this particular mystery is fairly
demystified, tho I trust others remain.

I'll add that if I recall a few comments Liam made correctly, the
principle -- changing the color of a sepia-toned print with gold toner --
is fairly well known and in frequent practice (in fact his article in #4
gave many such variations). Mortensen's special deal was a very elegant
manipulation and the addition of dyes or paint for further color. (As well
of course as those Ultimate Babes.)
