Add a few (kid's) marbles, a few teaspoons of powdered dishwasher detergent
and a half cup of warm water to each bottle. Shake (gently) and roll the
solution around in the bottle. The marbles slosh the cleaning solution around
and won't scratch the interior of the bottle (nor will the detergent). You
may have to do this a few times. If this doesn't work, substitute the
detergent for some powdered lemonade mix. This is no joke, it has worked for
me.
