take care with toning before fixing, your print should be totaly clear of
ferric salt (if you want to gold tone) as gold could react with free ferric
salt and stain pink your paper.
As with cetennial paper you could tone before or after fixing , till there
is no more ferric salt in it it is just a silver image and should be treated
like that.
use highly dilute selenium toning and half strength gold toning .
I also noted that the color greatly change depending on the paper. arches
aquarelle will give brown tone and BFK will give neutral tone.
