After reading through all the posts about the keeping properties and
dilution of Potassium Chlorate and the subsequent use by adding a drop to
the sensitiser mix, I decided that I needed more than one concentration. I
developed the following chart that helps make the calculations for 3 25ml
solutions of any particular series of concentrations - in this case, 2%, 1%
and 0.5%.

    Start with 44ml of 2% Potassium Chlorate and remove/bottle 25ml - this
is your 2% bottle.

    Add 19ml distilled water to the remaining 19ml and remove/bottle 25ml -
this is your 1% bottle.

Add 13ml distilled water to the remaining 13ml - this is your 0.5%
bottle.

As you can see you could start with any concentration and simply dilute as
required. The number 25ml was chosen to allow a typical small brown bottle
to be full, at least initially, and probably for a consideral period. You
don't use much of this stuff.

Enjoy,

Nick
