Erin, if I understand correctly, you haven't tried the Luminos on manufactured paper, and you haven't tried the Rockland emulsion on your "handmade" paper. If so, you can't compare them because it's possible (probable?) the Rockland wouldn't work on that paper either, & the luminos would be OK on the "factory" made. Judy
