New Method … or is it?
Dear Alt Phokes
One of those serendipitous occasions arose this week in my darkroom regarding
b/w Polaroid 55PN images.
There is a new way to strip the b/w image from the base like peeling the
emulsion from a color Polaroid.
However, one of my 4x5 55PN prints had not quite been preserved by the coating
and had 'turned' silvery.
I then decided to soak it and try fixing for fun. It sat in my tray of cold
water for about a day and a half. When I returned to it, the image easily
peeled from the paper backing and now appears much like a peeled RC print.
Simple and easy.
