You are correct Rod---I had a very nice modern 5x7 that was an absolute PITA
with even a 210 at double extension, no names will be mentioned but the
initials are Wisner.---It was just not rigid enough, I suffered with
one side or the other being a little soft. And when you shoved in a holder,
things would move just enough to throw the focus off. I found that an
elderly B&J Saturn monorail 5x7 gave somewhat better results.BUt not as nice
as my old Sinar monorail, wish I hadn't sold it. Snif.... I think the new
Canham metal field looks like it will lock down pretty tight, but those
"t-bars" instead of knobs are pinch points, and hard on the wrists. What's
wrong with knobs, anyway???
