I just started to work with Bromoil its coming along. This info on a photogravure press
I was wondering if eny one knows enything about a press for Bromoil transfer?
.
Is there enyway one could do the transfer without a large cost that I do not have?
If enyone who might be interested in Bromoil. I got a vidio from The Eastbourne Photographic Society In tne UK.

The press does not have to be huge- this depends on the biggest plate you
plan to make, and typically the presses in art schools are much bigger than
is necessary for most fine art work. Getting an even pressure over a 30x20
plate takes some massive engineering, but most art school presses spend
their days making much smaller pieces....... But even small ones are not
cheap.
 
I have seen a couple of very effective table-top presses made from
old-fashioned cast iron clothes mangles, a sheet of 5/8 inch or so plate
steel (from an industrial scrapyard) and some home-made support runners for
the plate.
 
Surprisingly cheap and surprisingly effective, and perfectly capable of
managing a 10x8 plate.
 
I have not looked, but there's probably a set of drawings lurking about on
the net somewhere.........
