I don't yet have the space to set up any sort of printing area (but I'm looking
to move and it's a big consideration - unfortunately, extra space and
working-in-Manhattan don't go together very well.)
So I take classes at the School of Visual Arts, and the class I just
signed up for is "Color Etching and Multiple Plate Printing". I was
all set for a Silkscreen class but it was full so I signed up
for the etching class. First question: is photogravure considered
an alt process?
If so, then I'd like to ask the multitude for information, personal
opinion, and/or
pointers to information about this process.
