Hi Judy,
I will have to check my notes for exact records but as I recall my
tests used 2cc of 15-20% thymol per 100ml of gelatin solution. This
kept for a couple of months before spoiling. Even stronger solutions
(5-10cc of 15-20% thymol) kept the gelatin for even longer periods of
time, up to a year.
