Pam et al,

George Eastman House run two daguerreotype workshops. One is an
elementary workshop i.e. sort of an introduction, in which you get
to see a dag made andlearn how to mount them and handle them. The other is
more advanced. In it you are trained to actually make a
daguerreotype. It is much more intense.

Photographer's Formulary runs some dag workshops but I don't know much
about them.

I suggest you call or write both of these organizations and ask for a
schedule and the details. The George Eastman House phone number
is on my web page i.e. page 2 which is a page of information about
alternative process.

Thanks for your kind remarks about the images on my page. They are
not enlargable on purpose. That way they cannot be downloaded and
printed out with any success.
