Re: bubbles in gelatin (fwd)
And I almost forgot this very intriguing commentary from Sil, which I pass
along because he, too, is having trouble getting through to list. The
wetting agent might anyway be good addition to the gelatin: has anyone
done that? (Tween 20?... Or? )

Dow makes an "Anti-Foam" which is available commercially which would
probably work very well. Another possibility to try is simethicone
(available in some over the counter medicines) which deflates gas (I'm not
kidding here - it does work). Some photographic wetting agents incorporate
the Anti-Foam (very little is needed) to prevent bubbles, or foaming, as
the name implies, so it might be possible to use a wetting agent (if you
can find one with Anti-Foam in it).
(Judy - I'm sending this to you as I can't seem to get messages through to
Alt Photo! Others may be interested, so perhaps if you reply they will see it.)
