RE: How Much Silver Nitrate in Solution?

You can measure the specific gravity of the solution. To do this go to a
brew store and get a hydrometer or hygrometer, what ever they use to measure
how much alcohol there is in beer or wine. As to what ever the reading
means of your specific solution presents a problem. I measure the specific
gravity of a known solution of water and silver nitrate when I first mix it.
I then add back enough nitrate to bring the solution back to strength or to
the same reading on the hydrometer.

..Here is perhaps a rather essential question. I'm having trouble accessing
..the archives...
..
..Is there a relatively easy and effective way to determine how much silver
..nitrate is in a sensitizing solution?
..
..Thanks,
