Re: John Rudiak killed on motorcycle
My thanks to Richard Sullivan for taking on the responsibility of passing
on the sad news of John Rudiak's death.
John had just emailed two weeks ago about a much-anticipated trip that
he, David Michael Kennedy and I were planning to make as a threesome on
our motorcycles in April. We were to give a joint presentation (and what
a mix the three of us would have made!) to an ASMP chapter in Omaha. The
vision of three wacky middle-aged photographers/motorcyclists tooling
into Nebraska brought a smile to my face. I suspect it did the same for
John.
John was a valuable member of the photographic community, always willing
to share his knowledge and craft.
I'll miss his expertise, his talent, and his friendship.
