RE: Info On Jobo Drums
Sandy,
The 3006 drum and the 3005 are both 8" in diameter, however, the 3006 is
approximately 7.5 inches long while the 3005 is approx 14" long. Both
measured without the top. The 3005 drum has a reccommended minimum solution
quantity of 270mL and the 3006, 210mL. How much chemistry you actually use
will depend on how much film is in the drum.
BTW, I use the drums on a CPA 2 and find that they give extremely even
development. I haven't worked out the use of pyro, yet, but the one time I
tried PMK (4x5 sheets in the 3010) I did have trouble with uneven stain on
the back side. I do have a nitrogen tank but haven't had a chance to set it
up as suggested in The Book of Pyro.
