arches for cyanotypy



I tried coating some hot pressed 90# Arches for cyanotypes, and it was a 
disaster.  The paper started to turn that greenish color as it was drying in
the dark, like it does when it's fogging, and it had white blotches all over
it when I developed it.  I wonder why.  Are some papers just chemically
different from others?  Could these defects be caused by buffering, like the
paper being too alkaline?
