I have an old mechanical quadrant scale that is normally used to measure
the weight of printing paper. It's quite precise and great for measuring
watercolor paint or pigment. It has an accuracy of 0.0025 grams.

Real lo-tech enthusiasts can also easily build their own scales with a
ruler, three needles and a couple of rice grains.
