RE: Refilling Epson Ink Cartridges
I purchased my inks and syringes from MIS Associates.
I use an Epson Photo EX, but I've heard that people have been successful
doing this with other models. I dedicate a syringe and needle for each
color and just keep topping off the carts as I print. On the Photo EX I
still get an "out of ink" status, which needs to be satisfied by tripping
the switch behind the ink cartridges. On some printers you can sneak a
knife behind the cartridge and trip the switch that way. On others, you
will have to briefly jerk the cartridge forward, as if you are removing it,
and then reseat it. Just remember to do this quickly as to not introduce
air into the system.

Keith,
Would you share with a stressed-out world which brand of ink you are
injecting, where you get the syringe, which printer you're performing this
on, and how you know when it needs filling?
gratitude in advance...
