+ Yes, that is a legitimate concern. An area within about 1/4" from the
outside OD of the pin is slightly softer. In practice, it's rarely a
problem.

As for taping the neg to the paper.... "been there, done that"..... the
registration pins are much easier, faster, and produce better results.
