Let's see. First, the subject line indicates this change from abject
technique to anecdotes. Second, the post refers to one of Ansel's teachers
who quipped this. Third, the jist is that with practice many things can be
successful developers. Finally, the exact attribute for that quote can be
found in Steven Anchel and Troop's book "Film Developing Cookbook."

Oh ... the Ansel of Ansel Adams was hardly every without a 'bucket' as in
Old Fashioned glass in his hand on social occasions.
