An inexpensive spectrometer is available from Learning Technologies, Inc.
40 Cameron St., Somerville, MA 02144. 800-537-8703. It is $22.00.
It has a holographic diffraction grating and a calibrated scale. While it
won't show you the UV lines, you can see the spectral lines in fluorescent
lights and sodium and mercury streetlights. It's a neat gadget.
