Joe,
My preference for pyro is precisely because I don't want to lock in ahead of
time whether a picture will end up as silver or platinum. I generally travel
with three formats for contact printing (8x10, 7x17, 12x20) so using a
single development for everything is really helpful. Later on I let the
picture tell me what the print should look like, including choice of
