Automotive paint supply stores, some large hardware stores, some multi
purpose home improvement stores will have in stock a paintbrush used for
painting thin decorative stripes on automobiles.
Not suprisingly it is called a "stripping brush". It is a flat, pointed and
asymetrical brush designed to hold a lot of paint for a long continuous
stripe. For paper tearing using the wet paper method it works very well.
Avoid doing this in libraries since the staff generally does not understand
your consuming interest in doing alt photo in the field.
