The goal of this workshop is to help participants become familiar with the
exciting options available for book design utilizing digital technology. On
the final day each student will make an edition of a simple book to trade
with all participants. There will be examples of several methods to make
books out of one-page, one-sided laser prints. Basic digital literacy is a
pre-requisite. The class will be taught in a computer lab on Powermacs
utilizing Photoshop and Pagemaker software.
