Marc;

I don't think that there is just one 'best' school to learn every aspect of
photography. The best way to do this is probably to teach yourself. If you
are truly motivated then you will learn. I am self taught and I am familiar
with just about every aspect of photography, traditional, digital, history,
theory, fine art, etc. If you could narrow your desire a bit, then maybe a
school could be indicated. But even then, the more specific you are the
easier it may be to list a school known for that one particular area. There
are technical schools, commercial schools, fine art schools, workshops,
residences, etc. all specialized in one area or another. For me the schools
that are overall good for photography are:

Rochester Institute of Technology
Brooks Institute
Art Center
Academy of Art College
The School of the Art Institute of Chicago
International Center for Photography
Santa Fe Workshops
Anderson Ranch Workshops
Maine Photographic Workshops
Photographer's Formulary Workshops
Savannah College of Art and Design
Parsons
New York University
Columbia College of Chicago
University of Missouri

And many others that I am sure I am forgetting.
