Where did you read this? As far as the partnership with Tiffen and Kodak
goes, the last I read (November or December) was it was to market and
distribute Kodak Filters. Kodak will still continues to manufacture
Gelatin Filters. BTW: Kodak manufacturers more than a hundred types, for
industrial, laser, pro photography, printing and graphic arts use.
