Thanks, Judy. I found the information in Post-Factory #1.

It is interesting to know that some things do change. In looking back
at that issue you write that one should "Be sure to get the BL bulb,
not the BLB, which costs 3 times as much and puts out a third less
light." Apart from the consideration of which bulb puts out the most
light, it is curious how the costing of these two bulbs has changed
in three years. Today the BLB is widely available and costs on
average less than the BL. It seems that the BLB has made to the level
of a national novelty item and people buy it for parties, special
decoration, etc.
