Just caught the tail end of an NPR broadcast that said "the Post Office
will attempt to cull out film and other sensitive materials to prevent
damage." In discussing options, they said X-rays could penetrate two feet
of mail, making them more efficient than UV. They're even talking about
using Gamma Rays. Yikes!
Looks like digital has yet another check mark in the advantages column.
