Carl,

I don't have any trouble getting to a DR of about 1.6 for my carbon
printing with BPF with so-called normal lighting (SBR 7). But with
1.6 as the baseline for a standard negative low contrast lighting is
a real problem. The film will perhaps cover a SBR of 6 at this DR,
but no more with any of the developers I have tried.

Yes, I also uses the PhoteWarehouse "mystery film", alias FP4+. It
has great response to increased time of development (or stronger
solution) and would be a real nice film for working with in low
contrast lighting. But of course the speed could be a problem in this
type of light with some conditions, wind for example. BTW,I also
bought some of their ASA 400 film (not available at this time) and
found it every bit as good as HP5+. And you know, it tested just like
it!!
