Hi, all.
I was going through my chemical stocks today and the
large (100ml) bottle of platinum has developed about 1/2 teaspoon of
sludge in the bottom that won't redissolve. I assume this is platinum
metal, and I hate to waste it. The solution above the sludge is turbid,
not the clear red of usual.
Can this stuff be salvaged? Do you think it could be re-refined (or
something) by Dick Sullivan?
Any suggestions anyone?
Many thanks,
Bill
