Manuel,

     I use a combination of 4 ply and 8 ply. I use glass only on the front
and it is ordinary, single strength glass. Its more important to get the
lighting right than to worry about the glass but if you can afford special
glass I would think it would help. I use a tape that archivists use to seal
the edges of the package. I'm not in my studio
right now but I think its called Treveck tape but the spelling might be off.
Anyway, I buy the tape and the mat board from Light Impressions.
