I could be wrong, but I think this is a film that is intended to be exposed
with a quartz light source. Recently, I've been making the tour of the
local print shops looking for large sized lith film. At one place, I
excitedly approached an entire skid of large film boxes. I was told that it
was quartz film, and I wouldn't be interested. Well, I WAS interested, and
offered to buy a box that had the seal open. The owner of the shop opened
up the box and started counting out the 30 x 40" sheets in full bright
light. Not a good sign!

I bought surplus some Silver-Digiplate film SDP-FD100. It is,
apparently, a film used by printers for sort runs. It is supposed to be
hailide based, so I figured there had to be some reasonable way to expose
and process it. Well, no luck so far. A full day in bright sunlight fades
the black to a slightly lighter tone. Developer in any concentration seems
to have no effect. Neither does fix.
Any help?
