Hi:
I've been trying to get a longer contrast range our of litho film ( I use
KPgraphics CGP film)
I use CGP as a large format film in pinhole cameras.
I've tried a variety of developers and dilutions.
I'm using Stouffer step tablets to see what sort of range I can get with
this film.
I am currently using a developer I formulated myself to extend the range
to 10-12 steps.
I found I was able to extend this to 18 steps by fogging or pre-flahing
the film to a low light level prior to the main exposure.
Preflashing the film extends the range 6 to 8 steps. I've started
experimenting with this - it may be possible to get more range
