Laser engravers don't actually have the power to cut metal. The sheeting
used in most laser engraving has a metal base but actually only engraves
the surface which is a plastic coating.
A High power laser 200 watt or more could do metal. But the type of
engravers that are typically used are 15 to 50 watts.
