Hi Eric,
I concur with your experience. I also toss files around GB's at a time
and can have thirty or forty high res images on screen at any given time
running
several apps back to back . I work with eleven G4 towers on
a daily basis and if Techtools doesn't resolve the problem or
DiskWarrior I'd quickly do a clean install of OS 9.2.2
( btw every machine is dual booting with Jaguar 10.2.2 and I can quickly
image the disk from a pocket hard drive in about twenty
minutes using Retrospect)
Who has time to be futzing around with computers ?
