topic... I haven't used 6 (maybe it is better), having gone from 4 to 7.
Seven has strange ways... but is so much less worse than other so-called
upgrades I've endured that I almost really like it.
What I want to say next is off topic... Sorry. But I think it's worth
saying and important: Something of a public service announcement.
I dare think & hope my digital trauma is passed. I worked with Adobe
Pagemaker for 9 hours today without a single crash. System sleep is also
behaving... The difference is (aside from list karma) that adaptec scsi
card. The hour it was upgraded, the crashes stopped... except one final
one, which in retrospect was a swan song.
I think this information is relevant to several folks on the list... I
don't quite understand it.... maybe it was the snow. But there it is...
